The first family sugar bush (or “sugar shack”) was established in 1920 by Roger Meunier, a farmer. He shared his love of the craft to his son Raymond, who in turn teached his son how to make maple syrup.

Over the years, the business has evolved to better meet the needs of its customers, including with the acquisition of two wooded lots numbering four thousand maple trees.

The old boiling room fits into the rustic decor of the sugar shack, where you can taste maple taffy and purchase excellent local products in the gift shop. In 2006, a large animal enclosure was built on the site, to the delight of young and old.
